With my lackluster performance against Feliciano, I
was determined to get back in the ring and avenge that draw against who
ever stepped in front of me. That person was Carson Jones, a loud mouth
marathon running show off from Oklahoma City. From the press
conference to the actual fight he insulted me by calling me a
pretender and promised to KO me in the fight. I said, just like the
fishesyou will die because of your mouth!
The
Contenders, my manager, my parents, and all the fans that heard his
arrogant remarks had only one thing in mind Make him eat his own
words. My plan going into the fight was no to KO him early, but rather
to punish him with combos upstairs and downstairs until he would cave
in.
When the fight began, I was all too surprised with
this ability to run away. From the way he presented himself I thought
he would stand up to me and fight, but he resorted to take the easy way
out and stayed away from me as much as he could. Never the less, I kept
the pressure on chasing him around and each second he would stop
running, I unleashed my power punches that would eventually cause him
to get hurt through out the fight. I was able to wobbled him three
times during the fight, and in the 8th round I unleashed a flurry of combos that gave the ref no other choice but to step in and stop the brutal beating.
Once
again, I got a TKO victory against a slick fighter who knew how to
avoid getting hit. But my patience and determination got me through in
this fight.
