This fight was held in Houston, TX, where the crowd loves boxing. When I saw Patrick for the first time I got a little intimidated by how muscular and cut he was. In the locker rooms you could here him hitting the mitts a mile away. People murmured about him knocking me out. He came in with a record of 6 - 1 (5 KOs). During three rounds I boxed him and broke his nose. In the fourth round I got in the ropes and let him give me his best shots. I wanted to know how hard he hit, to see if I would go toe to toe with him. After I noticed he was tired and swollen up. I banged with him. In the fifth the doctor called it when he checked his broken nose. He bled profusely. This was my third KO in the previous four fights.
